EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES
Northern sámi language – I completed the
indigenous sámi language course «Davvin 1»
online at Folkeuniversitetet in 2025 and am
now taking the second course «Davvin 2»
as well as a local course.
Lyrical poetry – In 2024 I started to
write lyrical poetry. My poems have been
published in the mental health magazine
Mentalt Perspektiv and in the local
newspaper Troms Folkeblad.
Speaking in front of an audience – I am
comfortable with speaking, reading my poetry
or talking about my art in front of an audience.
I would like to use my experience within
the topics of mental health, creativity and
being an indigenous sámi «without language»
to inspire others through relevant talks.
Illustration – I have made cover art or
contributed with illustrations and
photographs for both physical and digital
releases by the following Norwegian artists:
Einar Stray, Moddi, Dunderhonning,
Valverde and The Rose Chafer.
I have made illustrations for an edition
of the Norwegian magazine Kamille
and illustrations for the Norwegian
animal rights organization NOAH.
Personal projects – With good help from
friends I printed up a small edition of my two
unofficial books «Blåboka» (The Blue Book)
and «Samme vei» (The Same Path) in 2012
with a release party at Mono in Oslo.
Before christmas in 2025 I designed a
christmas-zine which I gave away or sold
to family, friends and acquaintances in my
hometown. This year I have made art prints,
cards and zines that I have sold at local
fairs and at a small art shop (SevenDesign)
in Tromsø.
Volunteering and local engagements -
I am active in the norwegian mental health
organization through Mental Helse Senja
where I currently am the board leader.
You can often see me at Fontenehuset Senja
in the small city Finnsnes and I am a regular
participant at Husfliden in my beautiful
hometown Rossfjord.
