For Any Bully I Might Meet

 
Your ugly words are cute
like a tiny dog that shivers 

they fall like little raindrops
but I have walked in rivers 

I have been through oceans
and held my breath for years 

I have met my nightmares
you are not among my fears 

but in my thoughts you are
when I pray to God in heaven

 
for any bully I might meet
back when I was seven
