Hello and welcome
to my art-blog.
A little about me:
My name is Terese and I am a self-taught artist,
a title I adopted in december 2025. I am 37 years old
and live in Northern Norway with my husband and
our two cats.
The reason for my lack of education and work experience
is my diagnosis "schizoaffective disorder" which I
have had since a young age.
My psychotic symptoms disappeared in april 2024
when I changed my eating habits and started
ketogenic therapy.
My medicine dose has been gradually reduced and is
moving towards 0 mg.
I am now studying Northern Sámi to learn the
language I lost before I was born.
The local "Husfliden" and "Fontenehuset Senja"
(Clubhouse International) mean a lot to me because
of the amazing people there.
In 2026 I am participating in starting up a local group
for the organization "Mental Helse" (Mental Health)
in my home town / area.
I like plants and learned a lot about growing vegetables
and flower from my mother. This summer I will
fill my garden with bluebells (again).
